Can I use Aloes to cure dry eyes? |
Can I put pure aloe (the liquid that comes from the aloe plant), in my eyes to relieve my dryness & irritation, with no problems? I`m looking for information on aloes (in liquid form), to relieve dryness and irritation of he eyes. No, don't do that. I live in the desert, and my eyes are incredibly dry. I use an over the counter eye drop called Systane. It moistens the eyes for hours, and it is very inexpensive. It has a different consistency than normal eye drops, and it is amazing stuff. My eye doctor recommended a few months ago. Nooooo. You could get sterile saline solution and drop that in, but it won't last too long. If allergies are causing the dry eyes, treating them can help. Have you talked to your doc about this? |
