Why do your eyes water when its dry and windy outside?

yep thats it

you most likely got sand in your eye, from the wind, stay away from the beach.

cause it has to be a little moist.

Your eyes have to stay moist - it's a way of protecting them from dust and germs. Also, living cells in your eyeballs have to stay moist in order to live. On very dry days, the moisture in your eyes evaporates quickly, so your tear ducts make more moisture to replace it. Wind accelerates drying, because it moves air that has absorbed moisture away and replaces it with dry air. A combination of dry and moving air means that your eyes are going to tear up in order to protect themselves.

It needs to be moist, and isn't these supposed to be a Biology question?

your eyes water when its dry and windy out because your eyes must stay moist and when its dry and windy your eyes get dry from the pressure of the wind and dryness in the air.
