I'm 6 months pregnant & I think I'm developing an eating disorder?

I'm 5'8 & 185lbs. I was 165 before pregnancy. This is my 2nd pregnancy & I have a 7 month old daughter (yes I got pregnant again when she was 2 months). I gained 40lbs with my daughter as well & lost it all...but got pregnant again. I just feel soooooo fat & sick to my stomach. Tears are welling up in my eyes as I write this. I think I'm becoming obsessed with my weight. Or is this a normal feeling during pregnancy?

I just ate a 3 musketeers & I feel sick like I want to throw up. I'm just getting so disgusted with myself. I don't eat a lot of junk food but I do eat a lot. I want to stop. & I'm going to start walking everyday. Is a mile a day too much at 6 months?

You can walk but it won't stop the pounds. You're pregnant not fat, you have to eat. Remember you're eating for 2 not 1 anymore. I just think since you got pregnant again so fast its just took a lot out of you to go back to gaining weight. Maybe you should talk to someone but don't stop eating. Good luck to you and I wish you nothing but the best.

a mile a day is along way at your stage , you are not fat your pregnant ,

dont worry about tthe gaining of the wieht your pregnant your going to gain wight it good for your baby ive gained i think 45 pounds since i got pregnant and im 8 months

i dont think a mile a day isnt too much to walk for six months if you work up to it , i walked three miles a day, 5 days a weeks, up to 8 months. but it doesnt stop you from gaining weight thats for sure. i gained 35 lbs as well, and i ate good foods too. and i'm 5 '1". thats a lot of weight for my frame. seriously, your body will gain whatever it needs to gain despite what you do, i think.
you might feel gigantic, but you're pretty tall, i'm certain forty pounds doesnt look too much on you, you are just seeing things exagerated.
walking a little a day will make you feel better though.

Babycake, I know how you feel. We females are very concerned about weight and body issues as a result of the messages we hear/see from the media.

But, as pregnant women, we need to be gaining weight to support the growth of our children. There's just no way around it.

Eat when you're hungry. Stop when you're full. Drink lots of water in between meals. Save the candy bars and ice cream for a once-in-the-while treat. And stop stepping on the scale-wait until you get weighed at your ob-gyn appointments.

A mile a day is just fine. It will do you some good to get out of the house.

Remember, we ALL obsess about our weight during pregnancy. But, remind yourself that you are supporting TWO LIVES!! After the baby's born, then you can focus on losing some weight, if that's what you want. Take care and good luck!
