I have an eating disorder but id like to loose weight? |
my eating disorders not a dangerous one but it stops me eating healthy food. My diet consits of chicken,chips,crisps,sweets,fizzy drinks and bread. I had this for almost 12 years and is a big part of my life. id like to know if i could loose weight with a diet like this? Nope. Just make a few small changes and you might see some weight loss. Eat your chicken without the skin and a serving should be about the size of your fist. If you want to fry it use olive oil and try sodium free seasonings. Replace chips with baked chips that have about half the fat or other crunchy items, like granola bars, fat free popcorn, whole grain pretzels, or even something like carrot and celery sticks. Fruits should help satisfy that sweet tooth. For fizzy drinks try seltzer water with a slice of fruit (like orange.) Carbs are fine, but replace white bread with wheat. No, with a diet like that I doubt you will loose weight. you could tone up if you exercise. Muscle burns fat so the more lean muscle you have the better. drink lots of water. I have never heard of an eating disorder when you eat junk food all the time. why? you are going to hurt yourself with all the processed and high fat foods. How about trying to get over the disorder and get healthy. See a Dr. or nutrionist. Maybe a therapist? Can you change the chips to baked chips and pretzels? Can you change the sweets to portion controlled 100 calorie packs? Can you try ANY fruits and veggies? You are gonna have to exercise your butt off to lose weight eating chips and sugar. Good Luck. NO U WOULDNT BE ABLE TO LOSE WEIGHT WITH A DIET LIKE THAT IT COULD KILL U absolutely not in a healthy way, if at all. first off, any eating disorder...whether you are in denial or not, is in fact dangerous! and your poor body is already probably suffering from malnutrition from the foods you listed as all that you eat...so if you try to take any of the already slim amounts of nutrients away from your body you'll only suffer. there is also a fact: if you dont eat enough calories in a day, your body goes into what's called "starvation mode"...which is when it actually thinks its starving so it stores fat instead of losing it. I would suggest getting help with your eating disorder.....by eating better healthy foods instead of those you listed, that alone would make you lose weight. this is not an eating disorder at all.. when u have eating disorder u either starve urself or eat n then throw up ... |
