Depression is a mood disorder that causes you to feel sad or hopeless for an extended period of time. More than just a bout of "the blues" or temporary feelings of grief or low energy, depression can have a significant impact on your enjoyment of life, your work, your health, and the people you care about.
Some symptoms are Depressed mood.
Inability to enjoy activities.
Problems concentrating.
Changes in eating habits or appetite.
Weight gain or weight loss.
Changes in sleeping habits.
Difficulty going to work or taking care of your daily responsibilities because of a lack of energy.
Feelings of guilt and hopelessness; wondering if life is worth living (common).
Slowed thoughts and speech.
Preoccupation with thoughts of death or suicide.
Complaints that have no physical cause (somatic complaints) such as headache and stomachache.

eating disorders depend more on which one you think you have. for binge eating, if you just stuff your face uncontrolabley, more than other people around you do, or if you eat regularly with others, but secretly stuff your face, then your prolly a binge eater.
bulimia is typically when you eat normally or binge but then feel guilty or feel like your fat and need to lose weight (whether you do or not) and so you purge after eating
anorexia is where you try not to eat at all or severly limit you caloric intake.

theres loads of things. try telling us why you think (if you do) hae an eating order and depression and we can help you figure it out.

i think its an eating disorder rather than depression i had an eating disorder. i had anorexia, then bulimia! i think you're cutting yourself to keep off weight. You get me? My parents brought me to some phyciatristman whoconfirmed i had an eating disorder, i'll tell ya, its the worst part of my life gets me depressed! also depression can be a side effect of an eating disorder as the chemiclas in your brain are out of balance. im 14 i cant judge what age you are. i stillhave to see the phycho shrink and i hate it!
