Eating Disorders? Depression? HELP!?

Both of my sisters have eating disorders, and they have depression! They are constatly looking in the mirror, and it just makes me so sad! I always cry about it! I don't know what to do!

You learn in Life that you can't HELP anyone unless they want to be helped. And not only that, but they actually have to take the first step to becoming better. You can only try being their friend. Remind them everyday how pretty they are, how much you like hanging out with them, and how smart they are. The rest is up to them. It's sad, but you can't make them better as much as you want to help. Just be there for them, and listen to them when they want to vent, and try to be a positive influence in their lives.

Are you sad about the way you look?

You need to alert your parents, school counselor, priest or minister to this, eating disorders can be very dangerous and leave the person with long term physical damage or eventually lead to a very early death.

They need help before they reach a level of 15% under normal weight for their height, this is the level where it can cause heart damage or damage to internal organs.

Sweetness, the best you can do for them is to be the best you can be for you!!! I know, sounds sooo old-time...but, you cannot control the choices & actions of others...however, you can reflect a more appealling example for them to see & choose from...See???

Bless them both...every chance you get...for giving you an example from which you can be wiser. In turn, you can only hope that they will eventually see you as the light, not the mirror.

Sometimes, folks embrace the attention they get for being what they are, even if it's destroying them in process...sometimes, they just need to see wisdom in process so they see better choices can be made.

Sooo, be an awesome person, Love!!! Be of wise choice-making!!! Your being will not only be reflected to your sisters, but to everyone you touch as you go on your merry way...

and Merry Journey to you!!!
