My sister is always complaining that she's fat and won't eat. How can I tell if she has an eating disorder? I once suffered from an eating disorder myself. There are several ways to If she won't eat its pretty much an eating disorder. tell your parents and let them handle it. well she obviously has a disorder .. she needs help . go find it for her. She sounds like she has an eating disorder. Please get her help before it's too late. This can kill her and its hard to get better on your own. I had an eating disorder for 4 years that started out as extreme dieting and exercise, then led to bulimia, then to anorexia which landed me in the hospital due to low blood sugars and seizures. I knew if I didn't start eating I was going to die soon. It becomes an obsession, I would constantly worry if what little bit I did eat was going to make me fat or hurt me and I was constantly comparing myself to other girls sizes. She needs reassurance that she looks good and is beautiful no matter what her size is. You should probably watch her a little closer and talk to her about how serious that condition is.
