wen i 1st got my period i was 12 then i dint have it for a long time then it finally came back now i havent had it in 3 years so the last time was wen i was 13 now im 16

you could be normal. have your parents make an appointment with a gyn for an exam.

dont ask yahoo answers. You should go make an appointment with a geniocologist(i'm not sure how you spell it).Maybe you haven't been eating the right foods or enough of one particular food group.Your definately not pregnant.

well even if u don't have an eating disorder you can still be underweight enough that you won't get your period. altho skipping your period for several months is a pretty common ailment b/c the gland in your brain that regulates your period doesn't mature til you're about 18 you should still have a period ... it just wouldn't be very regular... If i were you i'd go see a gynocologist b/c you may have a serious problem if you skipped your period for 3 years

Find a female Dr. or Nurse Practitioner you are comfortable with her, and talk with her about it. She might want to run some tests to see if you have a hormone imbalance.
This isn't normal, but most likely is nothing serious. Best bet, find a professional you are comfortable with and have an exam. Good luck!

It could be heredity, medication, hormonal imbalance, etc. The only way to be sure is to GO SEE AN OB/GYN pronto. And talk to your mom/grandma/aunt/teacher ... SOMEBODY who you trust. Good luck. :)

Don't worry.

It happens a lot to some of the people.

It is just normal problems

Just make an appointment and go to the hospital with your mom.

Hope this helped.

Hey,
its usual during ur teens to have crazy periods while your bodys setteling down - but 3 years seems like a long time!
You should really make an appointment to see your GP - and they may refer you to see a gynecologist...
there could be several reasons why.. maybe something like PCOS.. or maybe just stress or being over/under weight - there are heaps of factors..
but its worth having it checked out!
hope this helps

this happened to my sister because she was involved with sports.

I would totally go see a doctor. It is probably normal to have an inconsistent period when you are young and your body is adjusting. although three years seems like a little odd. It may be nothing, but better to go to the doctor and find out.
