I want a tattoo to symbolize my eating disorder? |
it doesnt have to relate to food or eating or anything. just something that would fit with it well. i was thinking like a feather because of what it represents. any thoughts? it doesnt have to relate to food or eating or anything. just something that would fit with it well. i was thinking like a feather because of what it represents. and no, im not getting it to CONTINUE my problem, its to REMIND me of the STRENGTH ive gained by starting to get over it. so please give me something constructive and if you dont have anything nice to say then i dont want to hear it. I think a feather would be a beautiful tat . I have a tat of purple coneflower to symbolize strength and healing. A hummingbird might also be an option. They are super light and fast and very colorful. In some traditions they mean joy I wouldnt do that because later on in life you are going to survive this eating disorder and you will just want to foregt about it. And if you have a tatoo of it , the tatoo of it will remind you of it for the rest of your life. skull and crossbones. you'll die if you keep it up. If you really want to remember this for the rest of your life, then it's your choice. I'd choice a word (a food), translate it to Latin and get a picture of something relative to it near-by. um barf , vomit or puke wtf thats incredibly dumb How about an empty plate, Or a barf bag? A tattoo shows what you have done or over come in life. Don't let other people tell you what not to get. It's your life and your body. People don't understand when it comes to eating disorders. I once had one and over came it when I was ready. Just because you get a tattoo that has something to do with an eating disorder doesn't mean you will have an eating disorder all of your life. I have a tattoo and I love it. Getting it was one of the best days of my life. It's a heartagram. Good luck with your eating disorder. I hope you get over it soon. On LA Ink, a girl got a tattoo after she beat her anorexia. They said id was the symbol for it or something like that. are you getting it to represent that you have survived the eating disorder..? how about a bone How about a Phoenix or a bird of meaning to show how you have rised above your demons so to speak. Go look at tattoo sites or get a couple of tattoo books and check them out. Good on you for overcoming such a terrible thing. Or even a coy fish or the like. God luck finding the right one for you. :) |
