In Harry Potter how in sync do you really think the wizarding world is with teen eating disorder etc?

It duznt seem 2 happen like it duz 2 us. If Hermione or Ginny had an eating disorder in the summer of Order of the phoenix how do u think theyd react & handle the situation? Wen I say they I mean: Molly, Arthur, Bill, Lupin, Tonks, Moody, Sirius and Kingsley etc. Can u plz refer like Sirius I think wud do this.. Or sumthing similar I wud like 2 no what each individual adult wud do. My thoughts are: Molly=Try to coax them into eating. Arthur: Be firm with them. Bill=Assure and encourage them that its OK 2 eat, Lupin: Try 2 gently coax them into eating but force them if it came to that (Force feed, especially if it was Harry and I see him doing the same to Hermione as she has no parents to protect her wile staying @ Grimmauld Place ) Tonks: Encourage quietly, try to cheer them up with a pep talk or funny transformations, Moody: Get mad @ them tell them they r being stupid, Sirius=Try to convince them, get mad and try to forcefeed them (Harry in particular) Kingsley: Try 2 convince them.

omg i have wondered this before to!! i think that harry and ron would be uncomfortable and kinda ignore it but be worried and tell someone who can help. i don't think harry would force feed someone. also agree that fleur would be really nice and helpful and so would tonks. also even though he's gone if for some reason dumbledore was close to one of the people who got an eating disorder i think he would be really helpful and talk to them and gently try to get them to eat. like when he tried to get hagrid to take his job back in the 4th book. also molly would be worried but do lots of research and try to help and i could see her like yelling at the rest of the family to be more sensitive.

...Write your fanfics on your own. The point is to be yourself and to be original.

I think it is there, I think it would probably be something they would have to cope with; but you have to remember that it's a childrens book (to some extent anyway) and an eating disorder wouldn't tie in with any story lines, and take away the limelight from things like Voldemort coming back.
I'm not going to go through every charactor but I think Fleur would be very nice about it, and the most helpful, and I don't agree that Athur would be firm, I think he'd be more uncompfortable. I think Sirius and Lupin would help together, join forces if you will and come up with a plan. But I totally agree with you about Tonks, she would probably get a bit nervous and make jokes and try and lighten the situation.
