What does lt mean when they say you have a eating disorder?

Unhealthy, abnormal eating behaviors. For most sufferers, weight is the sole purpose of life. But eating disorders are a "blanket" to distract a person from the underlying personal issues; by focusing solely on weight, food, and calories, they can avoid the real issues troubling them. Eating disorders come in various forms, but most commonly known as:
1) Anorexia (restricting food intake for weight loss)
2) Bulimia (binge eating and either purging, excessively exercising, or taking laxatives to "get rid" of the calories consumed)
3) Binge eating disorder (binge eating large quantities at a time without purging etc.)
4) Compulsive eating (compulsively overeating to alleviate stress or anxiety, with consequence of significant weight gain)

Anorexia. You dont eat and when u do...you dont keep it down.

an eating disorder can affect anyone it can be a result of something bad happening in your life that you feel you have no control over and you want to have control of something. many people think that it affects only white females in western societies but they are dangerously wrong. An eating disorder could be not eating or eating heaps then throwing up or just eating heaps in general any unhealthy eating habit.

by they i assume you mean doctors. an eating disorder is basically a situation where you feel uncomfortable about your body or other stresses in your life and deal with food in an unhealthy way such as restricting food, binging and throwing up (bulimia), or not eating altogether (anorexia nervosa).

eating disorders can be very hard to deal with on your own and if you haven't already gotten help, i would suggest that you tell an adult or friend you trust and be willing to accept the help that is offered to you by your doctor.

You do not eat normaly. That can mean lots of things, as this is generic label. Anorexia, bulimia, urges to eat too much at one go, iregular eating, etc.

Means you either eat tooo much or you don't eat at all.

Keep it in moderation.diet and things like that.
