Do you think i have an eating disorder? I binge on weekends ? |
Okay so during the week , i eat about 1,000 calories a day , then exercise for an hour . But on weekends I totally lose it and overeat and gorge on everything , especially chocolate until i feel so uncomfortably full , almost as if i am about to burst . After i binge , i feel really bad and totally hate myself , and i felt like i shouldn't have done it , but then after that I binge some more anyways , I think i probably take up to 5,000 to 7,000 calories when i binge , then when the week starts again I go back to eating 1,000 calories (or maybe less) , and exercising again . So is this a healthy habit for a 15 year old ? This is VERY unhealthy. You should not be eating less than 1400 calories. You are starving yourself during the week and making up for it on the weekends. Don't deprive yourself. Eating healthy meals regularly is the best way to stay healthy. If you want a cookie during the week, have it! But in moderation. The more you say "I'm not allowed to have____", the more you are going to want it. Do you know what that sounds like me a bit.except i hardly exercise. i don't think you have an eating disorder but i do feel the eating habits should be stabilized. Maybe you could increase the daily intake during the week (by around 300-500kcal) then have the same or 2000 at the weekend besides you are exercising so it wont be too bad. no its not healthy but alot of people do it since theyre not used to being around food so much |
