Im pretty sure i have an eating disorder?

My freind was doing a project about eating disorders and i was reading what she had found out about it and alot of the stuff in there applied to me.
I dont want to tell my fam or see a doctor... but i do kinda want to get the message across to my friends with out being obviouse and attention seeking...
what should i do !?!?! x

Pray to God for guidance on how to tell them.

i think you should call them privately and ask them questions like what happens when you don't change your diet if you have an eating disorder , or how can you prevent an eating disorder , just try and say it as if your having a laugh with them.
remember , if you already heard the things that causes an eating disorder try to find ways to prevent it from happening or further going on.you could change your diet and make it more balanced, for example you could have something like spaghetti bolinese , water and blended fruits to drink (just a suggestion).
I also think you should tell you're family because they worry about you and they will support you in everything , what if it gets really bad and you start fainting you could put yourself in a lot of danger and your family would be really upset with themselves that they didn't notice. they would also find out the hard way , but you don't want that to happen do you.

This isn't a game. If you feel you might have an eating disorder, you should be proud of yourself for recognizing that. Don't be ashamed to tell your family. Go to them and tell them you need help. If you don't feel comfortable telling your family, tell another adult you trust. Don't "try" to get someone to notice that you need help - GET help. Hopefully doing that now rather than later will help you get on the road towards recovery quicker. Good luck.

stop kidding..you have to get medical attention b4 your disorder kills you..

You need to be honest with your family. Imagine having a daughter with the same issues...wouldn't you want her to come to you? Usually ED's stem from emotional issues like self esteem, feeling out of control, anxiety, and depression. If you feel like you have some issues you need to get help to deal with them. There are some things people cannot figure out on their own, that's why we have Psychologists. It's good that you are admitting you may have a problem but now you need to step it up and figure out WHY you have the problem...and to do that you'll need help.
