Eating disorders are really common. It seems to me like you do have one and I think it's amazing that you seem to know it. If other people are telling you you are skinny then you probably need help. If you get it, you will be much happier. This is the website for the National Eating Disorder Association. You should contact them--they are not going to try to fatten you up--just get a more accurate self-image of yourself.

Well it sounds like it to me.
And if you really want to lose weight, eat healthy, dont eat greasy things.
Just eat healthy.
Go to your doctor and they could Give you some tips

You have a disorder called bulimia. This is where you purge after you eat. Purge means to make yourself throw up. Tell a family member so they can take you to a doctor.

first of all don't try yahoo answers thats kinda odd seek professional help instead of inacurate answers sorry i am a jerk i have problems too.

People who throw up on purpose are bulimic!

It sounds more like Bulemia than Anorexia. You have to realize that food is not your enemy and by throwing up you are rotting your throat and teeth with acid from your stomach. Do you want to have children when you get older? Not getting enough nutrition can make you infertile. I'm not trying to scare you, but rather make you aware. I suggest talking to a doctor of some sort. In the mean time, try to increase your food intake every day and keep it down. Shoot for 2,000 calories a day as your final goal (or slightly more if you are very athletic).

I think you do.
It's not anorexia, though, in your case. You have bulimia, which is where you throw up. Anorexia is starvation or slowly starving yourself.

You need to talk to a counselor or a trusted adult. They'll give you the best help that they can and direct you to the right place.

Body image is a very evil thing, it devours you, tricks you in to thinking skinny is the only kind of beauty, but this is definately not true. Our minds have become warped into this way of thinking by celebrities, tv, diets and just everyday people who whole lives are centered around trying to be and stay thin. Don't let these feelings take you over, your view of food and your body image is very unhealthy. Just eat healthy and regularly, and try to move your body more, not that you have to spend hours in the gym doing grueling wts, a 15 min. walk here and there should do the trick. Also confide in a friend or family member, develop a close relationship w/ them, spend more time together and if they are a good friend they will improve the way you see yourself. Soon you will look and feel healthy and beautiful. Remember you are beautiful, search for t beauty in others and you will find the beauty in you, inside and out. There will always be someone who sees your beauty, many more than u may think! Hope this makes you feel better!

I'm sorry to say this, but it really does sound like you have an eating disorder. Usually whenever EVERYONE says you're skinny, but you still think you're fat, that is a definite sign or an eating disorder.

And being that you vomit after every meal and think food is disgusting definitely lets us know that indeed you have an eating disorder.

You have an eating disorder so stop! OMFG! It really pisses me off how people think there fat and ****! so dont throw up after every meal cuz guess what, you say its a little but soon, u'll be dead. : P

What about tiny meals. Like 5 snacks a day. just something small/cheese crackers/fruit?
Take a vitamin everyday, or you could try an Ensure plus chocolate. start by drinking half of one, put it in fridge and finish the other half later.
Your stomach is small/shrunk and those big meals have no where to go.
Just keep up the fluids.... Orange juice, etc. and maybe by trying the small meals.... over time, your stomach will be growling for another small snack.
When i am under Stress.... I am not hungry. Lots of people EAT when they are stressed, its just the opposite for me.

Yes you do have an eating disorder. You have Bulemia. The symptoms are vomiting after eating. You should go see your doctor and don't think of how fat you are. I'm sure you are normal. Its beter to eat than to not eat or else its not healthy. If you don't eat your organs will shut down and your body system will too. Your wounds wouldn't heal as quick either. You need to think about the other things that maybe causing this to happen to you.

I think you do. Try and get some help for it.
A word of warning, you have to eat healthily otherwise you'll screw up your metabolism and recovery is going to be hard because your metabolism will slow down, and burn less calories and so you'll gain more weight than you started with.

try this... to find out.

it sounds like you do have an eating disorder... but atleast you are recognizing that you have a problem...if you can't eat big meals, try eating 6 small meals a day... angelina jolie does it and shes not fat right?..some people have smaller stomachs so they literally cant eat huge portions or they will throw up, but it sounds like you have that mixed with a little bit of a psychological issue as well. there are many counselors out there that can help you with this problem...if you are in highschool go talk to your counselor.. if you are in college there should be counselors there too to help you with this issue...goodluck! and please eat something you dont want to develop a malnutrition problem!

u poor baby!!!!how long have u had this for?? why dont u talk to ur parents!!

Bulimia and anorexia are severe illnesses. You need to talk to someone who deals with eating disorders NOW .What you are doing to yourself destroys your internal organs, your body starts taking apart your muscles for nourishment, your bones and teeth break down, you will probably loose your gallbladder. Depending on how severe your illness is your skin will age significantly faster than someone who is in good health, making you appear OLDER than your age. That defeats the "I look like a little kid" idea in your mind. You don't look like you haven't aged, you look shriveled up like an old old person. Not a pretty sight.

I used to think stick-thin was beautiful. But it's really not, when you can see ribs it just looks unhealthy. If you are wanting to be skinny to have guys like you.. They won't.

You're saying you don't want an eating disorder, you don't want people telling you to exercise, yet you wish to be skinny. Go to the doctor ask for a nutritional plan that doesn't involve exercise?

As long as your active and eat right you should be fit, the only way to be super skinny is to have an eating disorder/sickness/exercise too much >.>

UHHH YEA DERRR THAT MIGHT B A EATING DISORDER

The description in your question sounds like someone with an eating disorder. If you are interested you can do some reading here.

Please go to your doctor and get some help. An eating disorder can be a life threatening condition, if carried to extremes.

Eating disorders are really serious. that's called bulimia. it can really screw you up. i think that you should tell your parents. you shouldn't go sneaking around doing this. and dint ask your friends over and over if your skinny. that's attention seeking. they could be lieing, or telling the truth. you only live once. just live your like the best that you can and dont worry about the little things. soon you'll have to believe that your skinny/

Aww, I heard about these problems. I really think you need to talk to someone who understands and will slowly help you to stop throwing up. Why do you hate eating?
and how much do you weigh?
If people say you're skinny then you probably are, but I'm guessing your mind shows something else when you look in the mirror. If you think eating makes you fat, then try eating healthy foods that you know won't make you fat? Maybe that'll help your mind to stop telling you that you're gaining weight eating this and that.

its sounds like you do have a problem. im not going to tell you to work out or whatever because thats just not for everyone! but i'd concider checking out a clinic or going to your family doctor and talking to them. and eat small meals throughout the day, and dont over whelm yourself with food when you become hungry, pace yourself and like i said at least 6 SMALL meals everyday and a lot of water.

Well you have to realize that you need to be healthy. The only way to do that is to eat healthy meals AND to exercise. Doing those two things you can be skinny and you do not have to harm yourself to do it.

hey just hang in there you just need to stop throwing up after eatin and send me a pic of u and i will tell u if ur skinny my#5900629 email:emmy.sprout@gmail.com

Hang in there chick!!! =] keep on eatin!!

If you're throwing up after each big meal, you might have an eating disorder. I would suggest eating smaller meals and if you're still throwing up you might want to see a phsycologist.

do you force yourself to throw up or have you ever? because that is part of it. a blanced diet and exercise is what everyone is gonna say, but it sounds like you may need more help. contact someone (like a knowledgable adult) that you trust

i have the same problem and i hate that i have no one to talk to eith er

Youre bulimic... STOP. Unless you want your teeth to rot and fall out because of the acids in your stomach. It's one of the most common eating disorders.

If you don't MAKE yourself throw up you might be okay. You can't control what your body does. But you should tell a parent and get checked out to be sure.
