Do I Have an Eating Disorder, But I Think Im Too Fat...?


im 13 and 5'2'' and a girl and i weight 100pnds. am i fat? honestly? i diet alot, but then i do a whole bunch of emotional eating too... its hard because i look and feel fat but my friends say im thin but a guy, who i thought liked me but then didnt, said im fat. Does this sound like an eating disorder? my best friend thinks im anorexic, but she isnt always accurate on these things. and is my hair loss and cramps (even when im not on my period) related to this? also, im craving spinich, which i like but not nearly enough that i should crave it like this... PLEASE HELP ME!!!
ps. i know ive asked this several times befor, but i need a good answer and im not getting one.
pps. i want to be 85 pound by june, is this a reasonable goal for this time frame? dont care if you think im a moron for dieting, i just want to know if its accurate.
ppps. does throughing up really work and how do you do it right cause im having trouble doing it right?

You're definitely not fat at all, and if anyone ever tells you that again, you should slap them. And I really hope that you'll give up your endeavors to throw up because it's very, very bad for you. Hair loss can be from various things like stress and malnutrition. Eat well: veggies, fruits, protein, and please eat enough because not getting your nutrients does other things to your body (as I'm sure you know) other than hair loss.
And please do not get down to 85 pounds because that's a really dangerous weight to be at, even for your height.
I guess what I'm trying to say is you should probably start searching for help because you're not fat at all (in fact, very skinny), but it seems that you're beginning to show the psychological signs of anorexia.

NO you are not fat! and No it is unreasonable to be that thin. That is the ideal weight for your height.
My best Friend was hospitalized when she was14 for anorexia (6 month stay) and she was 82lbs at 5'2'. She almost died, which is what brought her to the hospital. She almost lost the ability to bear children for the rest of her life due to this. It made her hair get brittle break and fall out! When she would fall or bump into something she got huge hemotomas and broke even her hip.

You are thin and healthy. stay that way. Don't force your family and friends to constantly worry about you. If your really feeling this way, you need counseling. For you to go in this direction it is totally selfish on your part to do that to your freinds and family, and totally stupid for you to punish your body when it has treated you well up to this point.

You think your not getting a good answer cause your not getting the answer you want. This exhibits your control issues that coincide with anorexia. Don't ask if you don't want to hear what other people have to say...... but your asking so....

You will die! Is that worth being the skiniest person you can?

your bmi is 18.3 which is underweight sweetie.. obviously ure not fat. and the guy who told u ure fat.. well.. if he knew that ure going thru this and it would hurt you to hear that ure fat, then thats why he said it. And please dont lose anymore weight!

You need help. Talk to your parents and doc. Let the doc be a judge of how healthy you are.

Don't let others control your self image. Its more important to be healthy than thin...

At your height I was in the hospital at 85 pounds. Don't do it.

You are perfect, actually underweight by 5-10 pounds. Let your body take care of how it's supposed to be. If you control it too much, you'll lose any control over weight that you had, and your body will be permanently changed for worse.

At your height 100 lbs. is just fine. 85 pounds is unreasonably skinny, I'm sorry but it's true. That guy that called you fat is a douche bag, and you shouldn't give a flying ***** what he thinks, he's wrong. Listen to your friends and family, they're the ones who actually care about you, not some *** of a guy. Eat a balanced diet, take vitamins, and get a reasonable amount of exercise. Crash diets don't work, and could easily be the cause of your hair loss and cramps. Eat some spinach if you want. It's good for you.

As a guy, I need to say this. I don't like skinny girls. I like healthy, fit girls. I know they sound similar, but they aren't. Eat healthy and tone up. Toning your body will get rid of the parts you think are fat. Plus, you're 13. Give it a few years, do what I've said the whole time, and have fun. You shouldn't have to be so self-conscious.
