Your weight is certainly not an issue, it's fine. You're obviously concerned about your overall body shape, though, and strangely enough, it's your LACK of eating which may well be producing the results you're so unhappy with. Your Body is receiving the chemical messages that it's starving, so it's slowed your metabolism in order to deposit fat as an emergency measure to keep you alive. This is why so many diets FAIL. You'll find that a moderate INCREASE in your food consumption, coupled with mild exercise, will produce an overall more slimmer and toned shape to your body, as well as waving goodbye to the stomach cramps and hair loss (both symptomatic of starvation/malnutrition). You'll also find yourself doing less of the "emotional eating" as being less constantly hungry, you'll feel less need to turn to food when stressed, and indeed are less likely to be stressed or suffering from the effects of depression in the first place. I'd hazard a guess that the craving for spinach is a result of an Iron deficiency (your body knows better than you do what it needs, and will be aware of what it lacks, leading to such "odd" cravings, same as in pregnancy), and whilst spinach will help, you may find it helpful to take what we call in the UK "Brewers Yeast", available in tasteless capsule form from a healthfood store. This is especially relevant if you're often finding yourself tired for no aparrent reason, and are getting colds or sick more often than usual. In essence, your concern and your attempts to be skinnier are what's causing the "problem" in the first place. You're at a stage in your life where your energy requirements are at their highest anyway, due to the changes and growth you're no doubt experiencing at your age. So, go and reward yourself with a (small) cheeseburger!! Best wishes, Be Happy! Paul. u do1!!!!!! |
