My eating disorder? can i still have children? |
I am worried now, in the past i have had problems with food, vomiting and not eating for long periods of time, im fine now, but the problem will always be there. once youve got this it will never go away. I am planning to have children in the near future how can i find out before hand if i have dont any harm to my body? There's a decent chance thaqt your body will have rebounded and will be capable of conception. However, if your have been bingeing/purging and fasting there is a chance that you have done damage to your internal organs. I have a friend who was anorexic and she ended up doing permanent damage to her heart. Pregnancy, of course, is a tremendous stress on the body. You're going to need to have your doctor check you out. well depending on how long you have been doing it ...I can guarantee you you have done some harm to your body... but then again I'm not a doctor..and the best way for you to find out is to meet up with your physician and let him do the test to find out it will because the nutraint the baby need comes from you ublical cord or when you have given birth, from your breasts go to ur doctor and have a full check up !! |
