Do you find people are more compassionate to people with anorexia than those with binge eating disorder?

do you feel that people recognize anorexia as a problem and feel bad ...but shun at an obese person. Why do you think this is>?
I am very interested in seeing what anyone has to say

I think it has to do with thinking of obesity as being simply a lack of self-control (in spite of a lot of scientific evidence to the contrary). We, as a society, still prefer thin people to heavy people, even though people are dying at both extremes.

there the same thing.
