Is it possible to get a boob job when you weigh 6 stone, age 18 and have an eating disorder?

it's not for me. i think it is a really bad idea. i just wondered if the person would be able to do it as i am really worried it will be bad for them

No. If she has an eating disorder, she will never pass the psychiatric evaluation as she has body related issues that are beyond just feeling a little insecure.

I don't think it's possible. Are you talking about a breast enlargment? If so, tell her that getting over her eating disorder and putting on some weight will work wonders!!

That's really bad about the eating disorder though.. she'll carry that problem for life. Do your best to boost her self esteem to get her life on track.

I think it's a bad idea too. Good luck convincing her!

if she is ill through the eating disorder...the surgeon will pick this up at the consultation & will not operate on her...you have to be fit for any operation.

however...if she is healthy - she is 18yrs old...so she can opt for this operation is she wants...nobody could stop her.

who ever your friend is steer them towards the doctors to sort out there eating disorder, or better still if this person is a really good friend delete the negative remarks print the positive ones and give it to her to read, good luck

a decent hospital wouldn't undergo this op on anyone like that as recovery from such a procedure could cause failure of organs, this is what happened to a friend of mine, it's not a nice thing to see x

No way!

Tell them that the reason they don't have breasts is because of their ED. If they gained to a healthy weight they'd grow boobs back and wouldn't need to spend thousands on surgery.

Never Understood eating disorders:
However: it may be linked to the Infant eating habits...

I Have a great appetite, but then My Maman Fed me whenever I Liked !

"Breast-fed for One Whole delicious Year...:

No doctor would do any unncessary operation on anyone with an eating disorder.

Not a snow flakes chance that any doctor would be stupid enough to carry out such a procedure in the UK, even privately!

At age eighteen and underweight, she obviously needs time to grow. A breast enhancement would do her no good.

i think that would be the wrong thing to do with a disorder of eating no dont do that.

No, it would be too dangerous.

no it would not be allowed, and also i would not look right having big boobs on a skinny frame

No, I dont think a doctor would allow it.
