I'm honestly so scared of vacation next week...eating disorder relapse? help!!? |
so everytime i visit my cousins or they visit me i become extremely more obsessed with calories, food, weight, and my body. i was hospitalized last year for an eating disorder and depression, and one factor would probably have been my cousins. they have the perfect bodies. i mean perfect. super skinny and flat stomachs. no fat on them. and makin comments on how fat i am. I know exactly what you mean. Im recovering from anorexia now, and i know how hard it is. But you just have to keep telling yourself that you are at a healthy, lean weight for your height. Ask yourself this; Do you really want to go back to being miserable, in the hospital, having no life? Im sure you worked sooooo hard to get to the point you are at now, and you wouldn't want to put yourself through all that pain again. And i can't believe your cousin would be that rude to call you fat! That's terrible! You have to be stronger than her. If she wants to act like an immature brat, that's her problem, not yours. You could try talking to her, and telling her how her comments make you feel, but i don't know if that will do much, so i would just try as hard as you can to ignore her. Don't listen your weight is fine the way it is Dont listen to them!! You will wreck your life if you do!! If they keep saying your fat they are just probably jelouse!! Also you sound the normal weight for a 17 yr old. UMM.. WELL IM 116 AND 14 AND AT A HEALTHY WEIGHT... I THINK YOUR OK... MAYBE YOU DONT LOOK AS SKINNY AS HER BUT IM SURE YOUR IN THE HEALTHY BRAKET DEPENDING ON YOUR AGE AND HEIGHT AT 5'5" and 125 lbs, you are NOT FAT. You are not over weight . so don't care about what she says or do. tell her that YOU ARE YOU. and I'm me. my body is a little different then yours so who cares! If you can only judge Simone by their weight then that's sad. |
