I'm honestly so scared of vacation next week...eating disorder relapse? help!!?

so everytime i visit my cousins or they visit me i become extremely more obsessed with calories, food, weight, and my body. i was hospitalized last year for an eating disorder and depression, and one factor would probably have been my cousins. they have the perfect bodies. i mean perfect. super skinny and flat stomachs. no fat on them.

and one of my cousins always would comment on how fat i was and how heavy i was. and that i shouldn't sit on my brother's lap bc i was so fat compared to her. okay, sorry i dont have the body of a 12 year old like she does. shes 16 now, and still so immature about this. she barely eats ANYTHING. i swear.
and lately i have been working out so hard 6 times a week, and eating 1200-1400 cals a day.

i have lost about 7 solid pounds, and i have toned up. but not nearly as much as i need to. i do pilates, the machines at the gym, and i run 3-4 miles.
i eat healthy and well balanced foods too.
vacation is on the 28th. how can i deal with her not eating

and makin comments on how fat i am.
im currently 17, 5'5'', and 125 pds.
im about 4 inches taller than her too, so im definitely going to weigh more.
im just so scared of how much i'll restrict my eating when i'm around her and down there.

we're staying with her, so its not like i can eat when i leave her house...
what do i do..or what can i do to see a better improvement in this last week?

thank you so much

I know exactly what you mean. Im recovering from anorexia now, and i know how hard it is. But you just have to keep telling yourself that you are at a healthy, lean weight for your height. Ask yourself this; Do you really want to go back to being miserable, in the hospital, having no life? Im sure you worked sooooo hard to get to the point you are at now, and you wouldn't want to put yourself through all that pain again. And i can't believe your cousin would be that rude to call you fat! That's terrible! You have to be stronger than her. If she wants to act like an immature brat, that's her problem, not yours. You could try talking to her, and telling her how her comments make you feel, but i don't know if that will do much, so i would just try as hard as you can to ignore her.

And it sounds to me like you are living a very healthy lifestyle, so don't worry about that at all. Congrats on your recovery, i admire your courage. And just remember, try to have fun on your vacation! If your immature cousins are really bothering you, just remove yourself from the situation. Don't let them ruin your fun!

Don't listen your weight is fine the way it is
don't try to kill yourself because wants you start you can't stop

Dont listen to them!! You will wreck your life if you do!! If they keep saying your fat they are just probably jelouse!! Also you sound the normal weight for a 17 yr old.

UMM.. WELL IM 116 AND 14 AND AT A HEALTHY WEIGHT... I THINK YOUR OK... MAYBE YOU DONT LOOK AS SKINNY AS HER BUT IM SURE YOUR IN THE HEALTHY BRAKET DEPENDING ON YOUR AGE AND HEIGHT

AT 5'5" and 125 lbs, you are NOT FAT.

You need to tell your parents that your cousins are toxic for you and ask that your family vacation elsewhere.

I would NEVER allow my child to be exposed to that kind of behavior, not by a stranger and not by family. It is INEXCUSABLE!!

Sweetie, talk to your parents - NOW - and tell them how you feel. With your previous hospitalization, I would certainly hope that they take you VERY seriously!

God bless you!

You are not over weight . so don't care about what she says or do. tell her that YOU ARE YOU. and I'm me. my body is a little different then yours so who cares! If you can only judge Simone by their weight then that's sad.

don't let her get to you, if she does tell your mum. the more you consentrate on your weight , the more your weight becomes your life, scary huh?Your the perfect size and don't let anyone tell you other wise.
Good Luck.
