I think my sister has an eating disorder.? |
she eats between 800-1100 calories a day. She needs to eat at least 1500 calories a day, and she has a BMI of 16.9, and anything under 18.5 is considered underweight. I used to be anorexic and I know that complaining about my looks was something that I did alot, and I always said I was full or I didn't feel good to avoid eating. Your sister should not weigh anything under 120. Talk to her about your concerns and tell her that you really care for her, but being stick thin isn't the way to build confidence. Also you may want to bring the attention to an adult that you trust, that has a good influence in her life (possibly your mom). I hope this helps. |
