What to do about gf eating disorder?

my girlfriend turnt round and said to me todya she has a eating disorder where she thinks she looks fat.
her last bf put her down a hell of alot and she is really insecure about her weight- although she honestly isnt fat atall....she has the perfect figure on her which I have told her and complimented her about her body so many times.....and how she has said that when she looks at food it disgust her the thought that all that food would go in her belly and make her fat...she hasnt eaten hardly anything for days....she has told me not to tell anyone but I know I have to.
me and her parents dotn see eye to eye over something, and I no she needs help but she wont admit she has a problem.

please help. I love her to bits and dont want anything to happen to her :( Im just unsure how to handle this situation

I'm so sorry about that, but it's nice that you're sticking by her :)
I have an eating disorder, as well. I have to say that, as weird as it sounds, the more that people scold me on it or say how bad it is or that I don't need to lose weight, the more I want to starve. It could just be me, but basically what I'm saying is that you need to just tell her how beautiful she is, that you love her the way that she is, and that no matter if she is fat or thin, you will always be there for her. Telling someone who has an eating disorder to eat is like telling drug-addict to stop taking drugs. It doesn't work. Just make her feel loved, give her lots of attention, and make her feel important.
Good luck, and I really hope that she gets better. It's no fun to have an eating disorder.

Focus on other things in her life, besides her weight. Can you deal with her having an eating disorder?
If she starts to show signs of obsession, you need to tell her parents. If you love her, you take care of her, regardless of her approval.

Tell her that you love her and say that she's too skinny, and take her too a doctor,
Tell her that her matabalism could get slower if she doesn't eat, shes prob really young and has a fast matablism.

Wow she's a lucky girl to have you as a boyfriend

THAT'S SO SAD THAT SHE IS GOING THOUGH THAT SHH BEHIND SOME NOTHING AZZ PERSON.. WELL ALL I CAN SAY IS SHE IS THE ONE WHO HAVE TO RELIZE SOME THING IS WRONG WITH HER.. U CAN TRY MANY THINGS BUT IF SHE DON'T SEE A PROBLEM THEN U ARE WASTING YOUR TIME. ..I KNOW U LOVE HER BUT SOMETHIMES U HAVE TO JUST SIT BACK AND JUST PRAY.

Help her right away. let her see a doctor and her doctor will help her. tell her see she is very pretty the way she is.
eating disorders are very bad.

I think it is awesome that you care so much about her. Be sure you tell her you love her and are doing this because you love her. A heads up is that she probably won't agree with you and might get mad at you but true love is tested. Take her to a doctor and keep encouraging her with real compliments.

Talk to her gently about how much it hurts you to see her this way, and that you are here whenever she is in need of you and you are ready to support her anytime, anywhere. And mean it.

Do NOT force feed her or try to, don't talk about food or weight or anything of the sort.

Instead, talk to her about why she doesn't want to eat, and see what happens from there.

It's likely though she won't stop, and then you will have to step in and take action, get her to a doctor's, whatever it takes. Her life is at stake here, always remember that.
