Does my friend have an eating disorder?!? |
One of my best friends i think might have an eating disorder. She gets small meals and usually just plays with is. She is very playful and energetic but VERY thin. She is about 5 foot and weighs 80. When i tell her i am going to the gym to do weight training she always asks if she can come with. She has been taken out of PE because of her weight though she tells everyoine else its because of her athsma. is this a warning sign? Yeah your freind def. sounds like she has an eating disorder. It sounds like it. We'll, I am 5'1" and weigh 112 lbs and I am right on my healthy ideal weight. I think 80 is way too thin. Healthy weight range for a 5'0" female is 95lbs to 116lbs. Maybe you need to speak with her parents and let them know what you know. She may be upset if she finds out you said something, but she'll thank you for it later. I wish you and your friend good luck. Of course not. She's fine. 80 pounds is a healthy weight. Let her do what she's doing. |
