Are these signs of an eating disorder?? |
i see myself eating less and less every day. As of now i take in about 700 calories a day, and if i feel so guilty if i think i havn't burned that much and more off. I used to eat cereal for breakfast, sandwhich and chips for lunch, and hamburger helper for dinner. Now i eat cereal, nothing for luch, and as little as possible for dinner, and try only to drink water when im hungry. I am 15 and 5' 9.5" I am overweight and I know that I need to lose weight. I weight 170 pounds. So I wanna say no you are not fat. I had an eating disorder. That sounds somewhat like the way mine started. Please be careful. I gained 10 pounds more than I wanted to lose. Yes, it sounds like you may be anoxeric. I was this way when i was a teenager. I thought i was really fat, but i was actually skinny. Don't try to measure yourself with others. Just try to be happy with yourself. Don't skip lunch. Your body needs nutrients, becuase without them that could lead to depression and calcium deficits and lots of other things. Your weight sounds proportionate with your height. You don't sound overweight at all. You could probably even go up to 140 or 150 and still look really good! Hey Melanie, 700 calories is not enough. You should see a doctor and let them know that you are focusing too much on your food and it is affecting your mental health. 127? It's not good to be obsessing over food. OMG maybe. but i dont know. i pretty much have the same eating habits that you have. you should talk to your doctor if you really want to know. yep, you have an eating disorder. you don't have an eating disorder, your just trying not to gain more weight and it's normal Talk to a doctor or a parent. Get help or get checked out. Eating-disorders can be life/death situations. Weight loss for teenage girls can become an obsession. It's a hard enough time for girls without a weight problem. Almost every girl looks at her tiniest flaws as monumental, and for those who are truly overweight, taking off the pounds cannot happen fast enough. However, patience in this and most other arenas in life, is a virtue that will help not hurt. Keeping the following weight loss tips in mind will help you to make smart weight loss choices, and increase your chances of success. |
