Mom thinks i have an eating disorder? |
i dont. you don't meet the physical criteria for an eating disorder but you have odd habits. Only eating 700-1000 calories is going to mess up your metabolism. Making yourself throw up under any circumstance is bad - even if its not regular, it can turn into a frequent habit. If you are trying to lose weight, there's no need to be quite that drastic to lose 20 pounds. well not yet you dont, and is that a question or a Scream to help Your Denial Grow? Look if you are making yourself exercise that much and then throw up that little food you do eat than you may be developing bulemia...its ok to exersise and eat healthy but not as much as you exercise and dont weigh urself 5 times a day its stressing you out throw the scale away, you can keep your diet the same, and exercise only 1.5 hours a day and you will be fine Not yet at least. Seems like you are waaaay too focused on your weight for 13. There really is no reason to weigh yourself 5 times a day when once a week will do just fine ; sounds like you're bordering obsessed. She may be concerned because you are taking such a serious interest in your weight. There is a fine line between helath conscious and health freak. Try not to hang yourself up on it too much. You're 13 and probably in the middle of puberty and still growing, so naturally you're going to gain weight - don't fret over it. If u really want to prove to ur mom that ur not sick, u should sit her down and have a mature converstion WITHOUT yelling. Ask her what her specific reasons are for beleiving u have a disorder and explain to her why you do these things. It might be that u care about ur body and u want to make sure u are healthy by exercising and eating right. Or maybe u just pride urslef in ur body image. Whatever it is, just tell her so she can understand how ur feeling instead of accusing u of being sick. Just make sure whatever u r doing for ur body isn't hurtful or harmful. If u find what ur doing is hurting u, then talk to ur mom. There is no shame in asking for help (not that I'm accusing u of needing it). i think u DEFINATELY have a eating disorder. if u made yr self throw up thats a problem and u think that only checking ur weight 5 times a day in normal? that is a big prob! its not gona change through out the day! lsiten 2 your mom and GET HELP FAST! umm well to me it sounds like you might. I mean only eating 700 to 1000 calories a day? You might want to contact someone and see about getting you some medical help. Hope this answers your question. I wish I could say you're right, but it sounds the complete opposite. It sounds like you have exercise bulimia (going to the gym excessively to burn calories after you eat). In addition to ... I had bulemia for about 6 months and then i became anorexic for the second time after christmas this year. Luckily for me i got help from a really close person before it was too late, but i find it... I would talk to a doctor before I did anything because you could mess up your metabolism more. ...Maybe..if you obsess about your weight and body image too much. To lose weight the healthy way, you have to combine healthy diet with exercise. Diet and fitness are essential in keeping the weight ... It sounds more like you have gotten some sort of medical problem. You shouldn't feel sick or headachey when you eat. You might want to go to a doctor and see if they can help you with that.
