Think i might have an eating disorder?


im 17 and i think i have an eating disorder or some problem obviously. i really think it relates to stress and home problems. i have seriously cut down on food intake every day and am already underweight. 5'11" and 128 lbs. this was before i started cutting back on food. somedays i dont eat at all. other days all i eat is yogurt and snack on cheerios all day or i will just eat fruit. basically just eating very little every day. im about to be a senior in highschool, right now its summer. its weird cause i dont think im fat or anything, i just dont want to eat. im just not really hungry although i do kind of want to get down to 110 and yes i know thats way underweight. i hate this cause i cannot open up to anyone and get help, but in a way i really want help. im scared im going to hurt myself, how do i get help? i just cant open up to anyone and no one has noticed me. this has just started this year please help me

hey. i think yu may have a problem. if yu do want to lose weight, whuich i dont think yu need to, yu have to eat. if yu dont eat yur body starts feeding on itself then the next thing yu put in yur mouth, even if its healthy, truns to fat right away. talk to yur parents or even a doctor or counselor if yur not comfortable with anyone else. if this gets out of control yu can do serious damage to yur body. good luck hun =]]

I think that your not eating has more to do with depression/stress. Maybe you should get a counselor because you really need someone to talk to.

This is the time to get help, before it goes further. Talk to a doctor, a therapist, even a trusted friend. You can follow a healthy meal plan like weight watchers and then you will know "I need to eat this much each day to be healthy." Also try going to the gym or working out with a friend so you feel like you are not just eating a ton more and not staying fit. If you work out you can tone any areas that may not be perfect and be healthy at the same time. I suggest getting help before you lose more weight. Also stay off the scale and just go for feeling healthy.
