Am I headed toward an eating disorder? |
My bf (he's an a**hole for saying this) said that I am a little fat and keeps making coments indicating that he thinks I am chubby. I am a perfectly normal size and have been that size forever and have have no put on any weight while dating him. hun you don't need him, he is not nice to you. you desive so much better. Yes if you keep doing that, you are going to head down that road, please don't it is no good- trust me, i'm there now and it is not good, it is messing up my life more then good. I hope this helps hun, take care if you need to talk i'm here for you. Why would you want to be with someone who is so negative towards you? Either he loves you and accepts you the way you are or he doesn't. If he doesn't then you need to find someone who will. You deserve better and you don't have to put up with that nonsense. He could put you at risk for an eating disorder I suppose, but he could really put you at risk for depression. He's not worth it. Love is supposed to be blind, meaning that he should think you are the most beautiful and desirable woman he has ever seen no matter what you look like. Remember, you do deserve better and I am sure that there is someone better out there for you. I mean, the fact that you ask a question is a good sign that you're aware of your mental state. Usually people who fall into an eating disorder are less conscious of it, and delusionally think they're overweight when they are not. That being said, consider why you are staying in a relationship or at the very least tolerating these comments in this relationship. That would be the starting point. You should be slightly worried. If you have already started cutting back on calories that is a sign. You need to just be aware that you are eating healthy and getting the vitamins you need to stay healthy. Fnd another boyfriend. first of all, your boyfriend is a douchebag. kick his *** to the curve. eating disorders mess you up so much, don't get in the habit of trying to not to eat. just eat healthy. Dump your bf, he's an ***. He's just trying to make himself feel better and like he's in control. He's the reason you may be harming yourself so stop now! that is horrible that he is saying this to u....u deserve better and should be treated with respect and im sure there r many guys out there who would like u for u!! hes a dusch dump his *** and yeah things like that can lead to eating disorders why would you date him |
