Do I have an eating disorder or OCD?


It seems like I'm always thinking about food, dieting, exercising, losing weight, counting calories, etc. I count calories every day and often interrupt activities with friends to calculate my calories. Is this an eating disorder, OCD or something different?

No, I'm 5'5 and 143...a healthy weight I suppose.

Could be a bit of both.
One thing could be is that you are doing this to try to avoid thinking about something that is really bothering you... it takes up all your time and is probably handy because you don't have to worry about the "real" problem you have going on. Might be just normal stress or an incident that bothers you... it's not totally normal to think about food etc. that often.

Sounds like OCD,but you should please go and talk to a doctor. Good luck to you:)
