I have a eating disorder? |
Growing up all i ever ate is junk food nothing else, now im older, overweight and out of shape and i want to change. the other day a friend of mine made me a nice healthy meal for the first time in years, i tryed putting it in my mouth but as soon as i did i was gaging (almost about to be sick) and could hardly swallow it. Start off small. Rather than eating a whole healthy meal, start with a tiny slice of apple. Then the next day, start building up until you can eat a whole one. Take your time; think long term, would you rather be overweight, or spend an hour of your life trying to eat an apple? Then go onto different healthy foods, especially vegetables, while at the same time ensuring you get your required calorie, fat, salt, sugar etc daily intakes. Carry on eating like this, until you think you can try another healthy meal. Don't rush this whole process, though; the longer it takes, the better. You dont have to eat horrible food to be healthy. Try slimming wold it is really good. U can eat as much as u like of certain foods, on a green day u can eat as much potato, pasta as u like. look it up and join, u dont have to eat horrible healthy food! exercise moderately... let your body feel some tiredness and hunger, and at the same time this will strenghten your body... maybe you aren't fond of healthy meals. first you must eat your regular meals then gradually shift to healthy meals Go on a diet and exercise every day |

In saying this, a general practitioner is not... i haven't before, but you should do it before you get out of control and start to disappear (no pun? intended or anything.) don't be afraid because taking this first step and calling... im doubt that doctors would laugh at you... even if you were 500 pounds and had a eating disorder.... im 15 and i always think im fat...i recently was on a diet.... ya i lost 5 pounds in 5 days... You may just not have the right body type-- some of us girls are meant to be curvier. Not all of us can be sticks, sweetie. And I'll tell you a secret: 9 out of 10 MEN like curves. They love m... You need to start eating smaller portions then your stomache will shrink.......Self control. ...wow.. that's horrible! I would try as hard as you can to see her this summer, she may need something like that to lift her spirits up. But also pray for her and when she gets out again keep in... Eating Disorders are about issues of control. Usually the invidual who has an eating disorder is trying to get some type of control over his or her life.
