Eating Disorder????

i am 19 years old, i can usually go all day without feeling hungry....sometimes i dont eat at all.....but when i do eat i eat alot!! usually at dinner.....i drink ALOT of Pepsi and ALOT of Gatorade......but i can go a long time without eating or even feeling hungry.....im 6 foot 3 inches and weigh 130 pounds.....do i have a disorder? am i healthy?

Not necessarily. If you're really not hungry and not just avoiding food because you're afraid you'll get heavy. Some people are just naturally thin.

It does not sound like you have an eating disorder. Your not eating because your not hungry. Usually when people have a disorder they are avoiding food because they think it will make them fat.

What it DOES sound like though, is your drinking a lot of liquids so it keeps you full all day long. So basically your using drinks as your "meal", but probably not on purpose.

And your drinking a lot of BAD liquids. Try cutting back on how much your drink...try only drink one bottle of water (through out the whole day), and then only one glass with every meal (That way it ensures you actually EAT something). You'll still be getting 8 cups or more of water a day. (since most glasses and water bottles have more than 1 cup in them) but you won't be filling up on it.

If you can remove some of the soda and Gatorade and add water. You can get stuff called Crystal Light, and add it to bottled water for flavor (They have lemonade, fruit punch, Cherry-limeade and whole bunch of other flavors). But its better than Gatorade. And then only drink soda with lunch.

But to answer your question...no you probably don't have an eating disorder.

no ur not healthy. first of all a lot of pepsi and gatorade is horrible for your body and teeth. If you have these binges of eating than its your body finally reacting to the fact that you haven't aten in so long. You should try to eat small little meals through out the day even if you're not hungry its better for your body. Plus being 6 3 and 130 lbs is absolutely NOT healthy. You should be heavier than that.

try snacking on fresh fruit even if your not hungry
if you dont get your nutrients, you will soon become sick

binging is your body sayin "feed me" even if your not hungry

an eating dissorder is a state of mind, so its not that
but you need to eat healthy diets

small amounts of fat, vitamins, protein, carbs, fibre are all essential

xx

Does NOT sound healthy! And, at your height and 130 lbs., you must be a beanpole!!!
I would definately seek a medical opinion on your eating habits. It may be, and probably is, something simple. But I'd err on the side of caution and get a doctors advice.

You don't weigh enough, eat!!!
3 meals a day, snacks, healthy foods, you just need to eat
regularly!
