Is this an eating disorder OR?

did I go through a mild case of "cannabis withdrawal"? if there is such a thing?

I was up @ lake Tahoe for almost a month & ran out. Before that I don't think I had gone more than a few days w/o toking for years. When lunch or dinnertime would come I wouldn't be hungry & would have to "force" myself to eat something: usually soup & bread. I was also anxious, unable to sleep well & MORE depressed than usual/ I started using again & have NO problem eating right now. I am sure the "symptoms" might arise again but I PRAY NOT!
If you're going say "stop smoking" please move on BUT I am curious if this is an eating disorder or if I went through a "withdrawal" if there is such a thing?

I said I was MORe depressed than USUAL without it. I am always depressed b/c life really sucks right now!

Considering that you have been smoking for years chances are it was withdrawals. I know a few people who smoke, and due to how much they would smoke everyday when they ran out like that they ended up feeling pretty crappy, and not eating right. Your body is probably used to functioning normally while your high so you ended up having the withdrawals. If you gave it a few weeks you probably would have been eating normal again... your body was just adjusting to the change.

The symptoms of marijuana withdrawal include but are not limited to:

irritability
anxiety
physical tension
decreases in appetite and mood
stomach pain
physical tension
restlessness
anorexia
insomnia
increased aggression / anger
strange dreams

personally ive had a few frinds try to quit or they just ran out from smokin everyday, and they looked sick/felt sick as hell--had similar symptoms to yours, so yah its normal to feel marijuana withdrawal, i dont think you had an eating disorder---hope this helps :]

sounds like withdrawals to me, rather than an eating disorder...

I thought that smoking weed makes you hungry. So, I think it is some eating disorder.

Are you sure you are not depressed?
