Eating Disorder??i need some ADVICEEE!please.?


okay-for almost two months i've been trying to eat 500 calories a day.if i eat more then that one day i try to eat that much less the next.I KNOW it's slowing down my metabolism and it's not healthy.i know i know i know i know!but once i get to a good weight i'll eat reasonably.but ive lost about 20 lbs,and im scared ill gain it back. I binge once or twice a week eating anywhere from 2000-5000 calories a day.It makes me happy while im doing it....but after i feel depressed.and lately ive been wanting to binge more and more.i need to know if binging excessively once or twice a week will mess me up,and stop me from losing weight????pls help me!

Thanks for the responses-and i understand i need to get conrtol on it.I don't even know what type of eating dissorder you would call this?i guess restriction and binging?but i stopped weight training and i havent been keeping up with horseback riding[eventing-my sport] mainly because i havent had the energy.So it scares me that since im not burning alot,i don't need more then 500.I am 15, im bout 5'9" and my scale says im around 110.which i know doesn't sound like a whole lot.But ive realized how horrrible my old eating habits were and now they are extremely different.95% of the time i think about food,and worry. I think it's mainly because ive been experiencing some sort of depression lately.Like now-im on a major binge EXTREMELY full and already planning what im gonna go grab nxt! i need to look at god for help,i knoooow!

Well, you need to get to doctor and ask he or she the questions you are asking now, but you should be happy about your weight. You can still eat alot and eat healthy at the same time. And to be honest(this is just from what I observed)
most men actually like a girl with a little meat on their bone.

You cannot rely on online help in order to get ahold of your eating habits and your self image. Of course you do not want to gain weight after losing so much weight. But if you want to escape this yo-yo lifestyle, gain some weight where you can be healthy and reestablish a well rounded lifestyle with sufficient exercise and healthy diets (fruits, vegetables, lean meats etc). Good luck! You can do it!

I personally am trying to eat 500 calories a day too, and it's not easy. I need to lose weight. I binge sometimes too, and when I do, my stomach inflates :S try not to binge, I know it's hard, but try not to.

in my experience talking to a counselor for my eating disorder you have to want to make the change for yourself and know that by eating so few calories your starving your body and that where the binging comes into play. you lose control and feel good for the moment then feel like dirt after. I have a eating disorder as well and I have been doing better. I do fall back and feel guilty if i eat to much and walk or treadmill but not as long as i use to. i try to eat healthy fruits, vegtables, almonds and snack on low fat/low calorie cereal. its hard and no one but the person going through it really understands the disease.
