EATING DISORDER or BLOATED NESS ? Please help...?

I used to be a size 8, wearing little shorts, and jeans was fun, but now I find at a size 10, which I'm happy with, the jeans and shorts no longer fit - and are hard to do up , Its only my lower belly that has a kind of pot belly, or bump, and sometimes I don't notice it as much, I wonder if its fat, as I do eat loads and just never have seemed to put it on - but then I wonder. why would it only be in one place? No where else has gained weight. I also wonder why the hell a guy called rupert works here ?? How odd. Anyway point is, could it be bloatedness?

You need to cut sugar completely from your diet. Don't add sugar to anything. Don't eat anything that is naturally high in sugar like fruit and fruit juice, corn etc. Drink only bottled water. Eat very low or no-fat food. Don't eat late at night. Eat lots of veggies and drink veggie drinks (eg. V8) whenever you are hungry. Eat chicken breast for protein. DON'T STARVE YOURSELF.
As far as exercise is concerned, walking long distances is a good start. Find a sport that you like and stick with it.

Could be age.

I ate whatever I wanted and did what I'd call "normal" exercise (walking to work etc) until I was 27 and BAM! Weight just started to collect where it hadn't before (and not in the good places either!). I had to start thinking about what I eat and consciously exercising - nightmare.

Say "Hi" to Rupe for me, tell him it's Pimm's on the lawn at 4pm followed by the stamping of the divots.

It could be that you need to do some lower abdominal exercises, doing regular crunches does not work the lower muscles. It could also be constipation; I know it sounds gross but my sis always got a pooch on her lower stomach when constipation was coming on.

unless it happened like overnight or something, then i dont think its bloat. you prob put on some weight.

Try cutting out all carbs for two weeks. Worked for me :D

is ur period coming up?

hello ,,T
for some crazy reason we all gain weight in different places ,ever notice aperson with a big bubble bootie but thin everywhere else or how about a person built like a potato that has stick legs...its in your genes look at your parents and your grand parents ,scarry hummm..also if you loose weight only to gain it back you get a lil xtra fries with that shake, change up your eating habbits for a couple weeks, like cange the time you eat ,no bread or pasta ,my favorite is to snak all day for a month with no set meal or time but to be sure that I stop eating by 7pm and no sugar/sodas.....try that..any how if you are comfy with your look who cares what anyone else thinks.....your friend ...M

There's an easy way of finding out. If it's bloating, that means you're retaining water, which probably means dehydration and should go away if you start drinking more water (counterintuitive, right? I know.)

Honestly, though, it's probably just a fat deposit. It makes perfect sense that it would be only in one place - your body makes strange decisions about where to put fat that you can't affect in any way (which is also the sad reason why you can't pick a target area and just lose weight there). If you're really worried about it, the simple solution is eat less, exercise more (surprise!), but you sound very happy and comfortable in your body. Don't change that just for a little bump on your belly.
