Eating disorder is killing me? |
I have been battling bulemia for about 13 years now and thought i was finally getting better until recently i have been throwing up again... I feel like dying is the only way out.. i don't want to leave my babies but feel hopeless. i am a prisoner.. i need some help.. I have been in a hospital tried meds therapy i just can't escape.. I feel at my wits end and am getting very depressed anyone been through this?? you have to be able to quiet your fears and anxieties...dismiss all stresses from your life and just be happy being you...you should try to reflect on your life and ask yourself how you feel about how things have turned out and what you would like to change...then work to change them, all the while knowing that relapses are possible and will happen, but its about picking up and moving forward without looking back...dont fall into your zone of comfort, push out and embrace the challenges in life, they shape your character...you can do it Yes you need to check yourself back into a facility that treats patients that have this condition and you can not check yourself out. You need to live for your children. Ask for the help and never ever be ashamed of it. Its not some thing that will go away so soon it will take a very long time to heal and for you to get better you need to follow through and stay until you are healed. You will kill yourself well actually right now you are slowly dying all of your organs are being destroyed so please check yourself back in and dont give up. I realize that you have been struggling for a long time, so this may not work for you. However, if you are not older than 28yrs. old and you don't mind going to a Christian-based treatment center, there is one you can go to for free. It's called Mercy Ministries and there is an application process that you have to go through because so many people are trying to get in. But, if you can get in, I think it could save your life. I wanted so bad to go, but I didn't find out about it until I was past the age limit. At least check it out. It's at www.mercyministries.com. I wish you all the best. I know how hard each day is and it never seems to get better and no one really understands. No one understands why we can't stop and just how much it hurts us to continue. It's like slowly dying day after day. You just get so tired. But, you've got kids to live for and they need their mother. So, if not for yourself, then you have to keep fighting for them. Ask God for strength and to ease your suffering-to take this burden from you right now, until you can fight again. I will pray for you. I have no been through this but do know people that have. My best advice would be some sort of rehab clinic, it may take a lot of time but help you the best. This way you are battling this 100%. You can get through this you just need to fully commit, I recommend readint "The Secret" as well, it is very motivating and may help you, good luck! :) I'm 18 , and currently struggling from bulimia you CAN get passed this if you realy want to... you need to but your children before you.. image how messed up they will be to find their mom, dead in the bathroom. every time you feel the need to, weigh the pros and cons, what you would be leaving, etc. try to wait longer and longer after eating, good luck u need to go to therapy again and dont kill yourself |
