Eating Disorder Books/Stories?

Not non-fiction, but like young adult books on girls who think they are fat or whatever. Do you have any books like that that you would reccomend? Like a book which is the diary of somebody? you know, like Perfect or A Diary of an Anorexic Girl. I'M not going ana, but for some reason its very interesting.....

The Echo Glass" by Heather Morrall

""Something changes. It's so sudden it's like a bus has charged down the road and hit me straight in the face. I have a plan. I could lose weight." All Jasmine Harwood has ever wanted is a true friend, a best friend. But Corisande isn't trustworthy. In fact, sometimes Corisande doesn't act like she wants to be Jasmine's friend at all. With Cori's bullying, almost everyday turns into hell. That is until Jasmine finds an escape... A dangerous world begins. A world of anorexia and silence. "

"Skin" by Adrienne Maria Vrettos

"Donnie, 14, has a dysfunctional family. His parents, completely ineffective, constantly rage at one another. His sister, Karen, 16, is anorexic and storms around screaming profanities and lying. Donnie is simply becoming invisible. The outcast at school, he suffers from ear infections and lays low, watching his sister starve herself. He tells of his infatuation with his sister's best friend and of the humiliation he suffers at school. Readers know from the first page that Donnie finds Karen dead; his recounting of the preceding years is heartbreaking because of his sincere love for the sister who has been his keeper, and because of the anger and betrayal he feels during her physical and emotional descent"

"Lovesick" by Jake Coburn

"After driving while drunk, crashing his truck into a tree, and wrecking his knee, Ted York no longer has a basketball scholarship to NYU or much of a future. He attends Alcoholics Anonymous on a judge's orders and has been sober for 90 days. When a stranger offers him full tuition if he'll keep an eye on a bulimic freshman for her billionaire father, the teen accepts the deal, expecting it to require little effort. But he hadn't counted on falling in love with Erica, and he finds himself forced to decide whether his loyalty is to her or the man paying his bills. Coburn skillfully balances the issues of alcoholism and bulimia with the fragile love story of two lost teens"

"Unwell" by Leslie Lipton
http://www.amazon.com/Unwell-novel-Lesli...
"By B. Beardsley "a reader and fan" - See all my reviews

I recently saw the author on "Geraldo at Large" and was capitvated by her honesty and courage. She discussed her own battle with anorexia and her reasons for writing the book. As Ms. Lipton said, she wanted to give a voice to the inner thoughts torturing an anorexic as he/she lives with this disorder. Additionally, Ms. Lipton stated she wanted to let people know that an eating disorder can be overcome. I, then, bought the book, was mesmerized reading it and haven't stopped thinking about it. As a high school teacher I have seen students battling eating disorders and can only wish I had had this book so as to have a better understanding of what they were feeling and possibly been able to help in some way. At least now I have the knowledge and believe I can offer some comfort and direction. I urge all parents to get yourselves a copy of this book. It may make all the difference."
