Which is worse? Being overweight or having an eating disorder? |
Tell me what you think of all of this? I know both are bad but...if you had to be one or the other, which would you be? havng an ED is worse cause it's a disease of the mind that is more difficult to battle than weight loss if you're overweight. you can always loose weight through diet and exercise but you can't always fix your mental problem and it can wreak havoc on your health as much as being overweight, if not worse. First off....obesity is NOT an eating disorder like a few have said here.... Binge eating is a disorder where you consume large amounts of food compulsively in a short amount of time. hello :] well - overeating IS considered an eating disorder. IT'S HARD BECAUSE A MAJORITY OF THE TIME BEING OVERWEIGHT HAS TO DO WITH THE SAME WAY AN ANOREXIC THINKS. I SAY THE A IN THE SAME BALL PARK.THEY BOTH HAVE THE SAME LEVEL OF DANGERS AND SAME NUMBER OF DIFFICULTY TO OVERCOME. Having an eating disorder is worse, bc it means there's something wrong with the way you view yourself. I believe they go hand in hand, cant be over weight without a eating disorder, I have heard the thyroid theory but watch what those people pump down their throats,, junk food, I think an eating disorder is probably worse. both |
