I need help with a eating disorder? |
I have a junk food eating disorder. Whenever my parents arent home I sneak food. Mostly it's because I am bored. I would love for some help. Thanxs in advance I don't think that qualifies as an eating disorder, just as an unhealthy habit. Are you binging and purging? or are you simply getting the munchies? If you are simply sneaking a little junk food then you do not have an eating disorder. However, if you are making yourself throw up afterward you have a serious problem. Not meaning anything bad. But Bulimia is a serious eating disorder and you need to seek help asap. If you feel secure enough talk to your parents, i know you may be embarrassed but you should not. If parents is not an option you need to seek a school counselor, or someone with enough knowledge to get you some serious help. You don't have an eating disorder. If its because youre bored how about you get a new hobby or sign up for volunteer work or a sports team. Maybe try dance or volleyball, or you can maybe go to the gym a few times a week so you dont gain weight. If nothing works get rid of the junk food! If you think it becomes to serious maybe actually talk to someone. I hope I helped ;) i used 2 eat a lot when i was bored. but n ow i just say "no", "im not going to eat things that are bad for me when i can be doing something productive" go outside and play, or eat a healthy snack like celery or something, hint: i get full faster when i eat healthy stuff. so just leave out the junkfood and do something good for yourself. :) hope i helped! tell your parents to keep track of the food in the house. Try to not eat when you are not hungry. Yes, I know its hard. Also, if you are hungry, choose something healthy. for example: if you want something crunchy, have some carrots or celery. if you want something sweet, have a peice of fruit. ifyou want something salty, have some pretzals! find other things to do to take your mind off eating. most people eat out of boredom. Have them hide the food somewere or just think if you eat too much you will get really fat and it will be hard to get rid of. Also if you get too fat it could cause you to get a heart attack which can lead to death Try switching your brand of junk food. Instead of milk chocolate, try dark chocolate. Instead of potato chips try mini rice cakes. |
