A question related to eating disorders?

i have had an ED now for about 2 and a half years
i have gone form eating normally to fasting for a week then eating again
i am however healthier then the average person
i am not overweight and i am actually underweight
i am a vegetarian and have little fat
my doctor still however says i am unhealthy
so why is it so unhealthy if i am skinny and most people are overweight which is unhelahty
isnt underweight healthier???
i am almost 16
5 foot 6
119 pounds
wanting to be 110 or 105 maybe less depending
(i model and dance so i have to be skinny)
ps. the only major sideaffects i have had are weak bones, missed periods for a year, weak kidneys, weak bladder, and weak immune system.
honestly though i feel healthy and fine
am i just crazy???

hon, just because youre under weight and youre skinny doesn't mean you are healthy. Neither being over-weight nor being underweight is healthy.

Youre saying you have weak bladder, weak bones, etc, do you know what even all these cause later when youre older? You might have to study a lil into it! I'm not sure what your doctor is saying or how s/he is letting you be like this, but you need to get some treatment and gain some weight.

Try to eat nutritious foods that are high in calories. Examples are whole-grain breads, vegetables such as avocados and potatoes, kidney beans, lean red meat, poultry and fish.

Increase the caloric value of your meals. Add powdered milk to casseroles for added calories, add avocados and olives to sandwiches, add wheat germ to your cereal, add chopped meat to your pasta sauce, and so on.

Avoid skipping meals. Knowing how to gain weight involves consistent eating. Eat three meals a day and at least two snacks.

Increase your normal portion size. Take a second scoop of pasta, or add two bananas to your oatmeal.

You can have the right weight for your height and age and be healthy and still look great for modeling and dancing.

this can even weaken ur heart and u could die. think about it.

I don't think you're crazy, It's very understandable about how you have to be skinny for Modeling(so you can fit into the clothes and look cute) and for the Dacing(so you're not heavy when people lift you depending on what type of dancing it is.

also your side effects are alot better than mie, I've had bad headaches sleeping constintly, and feeling weak, but i thought i was healthy.

I think your healthy because thee is so muc obesity in the world and all you're trying to do it lower the population for the obese people, Good Job.

Hope I Helped
