What kind of specialist/counselor could I go to for binge eating disorder and ENDOS?

I'm struggling with both, but I don't know what kind of doctor/counselor I should go to?

EndoS is an extracellular enzyme. For any questions you have about EndoS, see your physician.

For an eating disorder you would go to an addictions sepecialist. Or you could go to OE. Overeaters Anonymous.

Start by talking to your regular physician or councellor and they can reccomend you to a specialist.
And due to your typo "ENDOS" instead of EDNOS you're getting some very incorrect information. You don't have a thyroid or cellular problem (or maybe you do, but this question has nothing to do with it) You may need to see an ED specialist.

Jay, start off with your family physician. Giving him or her a headsup will be the best thing for ya. Let him figure out who to send you to. He/she might notice something that you don't envision. For instance, maybe from the looks of your nails, he can tell that your disorder is associated with a thyroid condition. Start out there anyhow. Give him a chance to analyze your condition, and he will recommend the next person you should see. He will probably even get you in faster to see them. Many insurance companys need a referral from your Primary anyhow, in order to pay....assuming you might have insurance. But even if you don't, centralizing your health care with one person, or one office, will give you a better chance of survival, should you be one day in a position that somebody needs to make a decision for you. Having your medical history centralized will give you an edge. Your primary might even be aware of somebody really good in whatever field it is that you need to be sent to. Good luck, whatever the problem is, I hope you get a handle on it. I feel your pain...and you deserve better.
