My Best friend thinks i have an eating disorder!!??? |
She thinks im aneorexic.....but thats insane cuz i still eat a little, im not totally starving myself, i won't let it get that bad...and shes bulimic, shes worried that shes rubbing off on me....it's not like im thin....so i don't know why shes worried...what should i do???!!! 4-5 small meals??!!! thats a lot! i can't eat that much.. just tell her you eat how you want because you don't have to be exactly like her. maybe a little food helps you concentrate without thinking about your full stomach.(p.s. i have the same prob.) ........... I have had an eating disorder for years ( anorexic ), and i can honestly tell you i've never met anyone with anorexia that weighed 130 lbs. I am 5'8 and 100 lbs ( use to weigh 94 lbs ). You weigh about what you should weigh for your height. Only a doctor can diagnose you with a eating disorder. So unless your best friend is one, i really don't think you should be listening to her. Some people are just not big eaters, that doesn't mean they all have eating disorders. Please don't get sucked into your friends world. Eating disorders are not glamorous like some people make them out to be. Just keep eating :-) how much do you weigh whats your height age ect. if its normal. and you see yourself as fat. then you may well be on the way to an eating disorder. just look at yourself in the mirror. and say what you feel. the truth will come out eventually. :) xx just make sure you eat 4-5 small meals a day. then she'll see you eating and won't think ur anorexic plus eating 4-5 small, healthy meals will help you maintain a healthy weight. Eating lots of healthy foods will make you look prettier. If you aren't eating enough it will only make you look sick and ugly. believe me. If you are anorexic, seek help. |
