Please help, my friend has an eating disorder? |
One of my best friends is bulemic (sp?) Bulimia is where you eat a lot of food at one time (binge) then have feelings of guilt, self hatred and lack of control, so you attempt to get rid of the food (purging). This can be through making yourself sick, exercising excessively, taking laxitives... It's still anorexia, but it's gotten more severe. I'm a recovering anorexic; you HAVE to tell a parent about it. It's the only way you can all get her to at least listen to you - she needs to go to a doctor. |
