Do I got an eating disorder?


I really think I got one..
I hardly eat (500-700 calories a day) and I always check the back of food to know how many calories there are..All I want to do is exercise all the time,My ribs do stick out of my skin now
my nails are slowly being brittle,my hair comes out when I brush it..Im always getting dizzy and lightheaded too..I seriously tried to eat 3 meals but it never works out..I keep thinking i'm fat too even if everyone calls me skinny, im always getting cold and feeling depressed all the time.At the start of summer I was 120 with a bmi of 20.20,its now the middle of summer and im 107.8 with a bmi of 17.8..I really think with the rate I'm going I'll be under 100 by the end of summer.I really don't know what to do anymore

Go to the doctor it could be a physical problem. When you lose weight suddenly there is usually an underlying problem. If you have been depressed then maybe that is the reason if not then go to the doctor and get tested to see what is wrong.
That happened to my cousin and she ended up dying of cancer at a young age.

oh wow,i think you do have an eating disorder,but im not a doctor or anything.you deffinatly need to start GAINING weight if u only weigh that much,because i am pretty skinny my self(i am a size 0) but i am only 5 feet tall and i weigh 111 pounds. try eating alot of fruit and veggies and meat that way u can stay thin but without the hair loss and brittle nails and depression.if that doesnt help deffinatly visit your doctor

you need between 1500 and 2000 calories a day just for normal organ and tissue function you are not getting enough vitamins and minerals thats why the brittle nails and hair loss...you do have a eating disorder but at least you are aware ...you are starving yourself talking to a counselor if you cant resolve yourself would be best...good luck!!!!!!!

yes, go see a doctor.
this problem is partly psychological.
remove all the mirrors from the house and your purse.
find a pleasurable activity or something fun to do at the dinner table. Make a happy pancake or play in your food while you eat it. Become more comfortable at the dinner table.

Yeah It looks like you have some of the symptoms
of anorexia.

You should go to a psychiatrist or nutritionist or a regular doctor and get help. You are in a scary situation.


What i did when i was kind of like that is i would slowly increase
the intake of food. baby steps.Yo! cuz if you dont you will just puke it up.

thats like me. I only et 500-700 clories a day and i exercize and looks how many calories, fat, sodium, trans at, ect. in every food but i do eat 2 meals a day, so u need to eat and eat more cabrs

It really sounds like you are fighting something like anorexia... definately tell a doctor or someone else you trust about your concerns. Good luck =]

u hv an eating disorder :( plez dont do this 2 ur self!! i used to be like u i didn't eat much and excersized alot but thankfuly i stopped myself b4 i develped a disorder && trust me ur NOT fat

i really don't think this is a disorder


i eat only every 3-6 days. <---------THATS what you call a disorder.

So yea I would think you do have one those are common symptoms! Try to eat a big meal but after you eat a little let it digest and try to eat more!

Well usually people with disorders don't freak out. its like they know its bad for them but they dont stop just like people that smoke
