No period after eating disorder? |
During early 2007 I lost my period due to inadequate weight and malnutrition. After recovering in the summer/fall of 2008 I have yet to regain my period even though I am at a normal weight. I'm 5'5 and my lowest weight was 88lbs and my current weight is 115lb. I exercise everyday minimum six days a week usually running 5 to 15 miles plus weights on non-distance days. My eating habits are regular and healthy. What reasoning could there be for the absence? mine took 2 1/2 years It takes a while for it to come back, and I dont think it always comes back. If you were down a lot, to the point of hospitalization theres a chance you wont have it anymore. Had sex recently? |
