Eating disorder recovery music? |
I am currently struggling with recovery from my 2 year long eating disorder and wonder if there are any songs that could help motivate me? I used 'pro ana' songs before and think the opposite of this would help. Wow I was just going to say the same thing as the first responder. I suggest these songs. Beauty From Pain- Superchick, Never Alone- Barlow Girl,Find Yourself in you, Everlife, Times Like These, Foo Fighters! Thanks! - Kelsey as a Christian, I would recommend the song God Is In Control. It's a song that basically says that no matter what happens, God is still on the throne, and He is in control. Any hymn on courage, encouragement, or any invitation hymn would do well. Take a look at the words to the hymn Just As I Am. And congratulations on trying to recover =). I do hope you succeed, and remember He's in control!!! Jack Johnson's "Poster" is a good one courage by superchick |
