Eating disorder, periods and the pill?


i've wondered this for a while. a symptom of having an eating disorder is that your period can stop, if you lose too much weight. but if you're taking the birth control pill, would it just carry on regardless? since it's not a 'real' period? so my periods could have stopped, but i wouldn't know, because the pill would cause them to continue anyway?
or wouldn't that happen?

Yeah I think you'd probably still get the bleed on the pill because it's not a real period.

If you have an eating disorder I think you should see a doctor.
