Do i Have an Eating Disorder, and What Kind?

Im 13 years old. 5 feet tall. I weigh 111-112.
I have a thing on my ipod to count my calories for me, i only eat up to 800 calories a day.
I feel sooo guilty if I eat chocolate, chips etc.
And i chew gum all the time so I don't eat as much
But i do eat.
I have cereal for breakfast, because i know you can gain weight if you dont eat anything for breakfast.
I eat a few snacks for lunch.
And i eat what i have to a dinner, because i can;t let my parents know of course.
But i do eat snacks otherwise.
A couple of months ago i tryed throwing up, but it made my stomach hurt so i stopped.
I'm wondering really if I have an eating disorder, because, I eat, and I dont throw up. But with the other stuff going on, im not sure but im fat:(. Just tell me what you think.

If this is a condition., tell me what kind.

Right now? No, but if you continue on this path you will. Right now you are on a very unhealthy and deadly diet. You really should start eating normal again. Don't worry about calories, just make sure to walk or dance or do some kind of activity nearly every day, and you should be fine.

Truly eating disorders are a mess. Even what little you have already done can trigger something one day down the road, and next thing you know you will be out of control. It will control you. You will be worried about every calorie that goes in. And if you mess up you will find some way to get rid of it. It will consume your life. You will begin to become paranoid that everyone hates you just because they want you to eat and be healthy. You will cut them off. And if you were to end up with bulimia you would end up stealing or spending money meant for bills on food, and wallow in this lonely world you have created where most likely you will live for many years and possibly die.

So PLEASE just go back to your normal eating behaviours. I am begging you. Value your life, and those who love you.

anorexia. if you haven't lost enough weight for it to be anorexia, it's EDNOS (Eating Disorder Not Otherwise Specified) which is still a serious problem.

go to a doctor/psych as soon as possible. if you can start eating more NOW, do it. otherwise, doctor ASAP. it's a nightmare journey to have anorexia, you want to get started healing as soon as you can...

you should see a doctor about this.
at your age, you can eat a lot and not gain weight as you have what is called a high metabolism. (Google it if you don't understand)
stop counting calories and eat more you will NOT get fatter,
you don't have to worry about calories for another 10 years!

Yes, it sounds like you have anorexia. If you can get out now, do it. You can't imagine how nightmarish it gets. If you survive it, you'll never be the same.

yes, this would be qualified as an eating disorder not otherwise specified, or EDNOS, since it doesn't meet the criteria for anorexia or bulimia but does show that you have issues with food.
you are not fat. 112 pounds is a perfectly normal weight for your height.
also, eating below 1200 calories per day forces your body into starvation mode which causes your body to slow its metabolism, store fat to protect itself and burn muscle instead of fat.
if you want to get out of this eating disorder, you should try to talk to your parents, counselor or doctor and ask to see a nutritionist and/or psychologist.

whoa. this is EXACTLY like me. like the meal plans and chewing gum and the thing on my iTouch. i've tried throwing up six times, never accomplished and i ended up getting a sore throat. anyways, after two weeks of this, it got worse, i just didnt eat lunch anymore, and hardly ate dinner. i ate breakfast, small snack after school, and a fourth of dinner. This is anorexia. i would consider getting help if i were you, because thats what im going to do. i know that this path is not a good one and i want help.
