I wanna get over an eating disorder but i dont wanna get fat!?

I am getting over an eating disorder and my lowest bmi was 22.8 and its currently 23.0! I want to get better and repair the damage i've done to my body but i don't wanna become overweight again like i was before. I wanna get better so badly but gaining weight is my biggest fear. What do i do?

Getting over it is the hardest bit. It can take from up to a few weeks to a few years. It really depends how often you're purging.
It's hard. It's very, very hard. I can tell you that. And I know this, because I've been there.
If you are purging three times + everyday, try cutting down to once a day. If you feel disgusting, try eating low calorie foods and fruit. Cut back on meals a bit, so you don't feel so insecure about your weight, but persist to eat.
If you are purging once a day, try once or twice a week, until you feel no need for it.

Get a gym membership is my best advice. Not only are you burning fat healthily, but you're feeling better about yourself. If you don't want a gym membership, try do-at-home exercises, like crunches or sit ups. I did these for a while during my post-bulimia stage and toned up heaps.

I do throw in the occasional purge, but much much less than I used to. You'll start to feel tired of the constant gagging over the toilet, and that's a good thing. It's a sign that you're becoming weak due to the bulimia and it gives you the incentive to give up. I'm currently in my last schooling years, and the incentive of "if I don't stop this, my grades will continue to slip" was projected.

Gaining weight too is my biggest fear. I've always been on the fatter side of thin, and I brink the fat side more and more. However, I recently took up a job over the holidays where I'm lugging around carts all day and not feeling in a state to eat. Therefore, my weight has dropped.
Remember, you can compare yourself to people when they walk past. So what if she's thinner, you'll always find someone fatter than you. You look in the mirror, and tell yourself you're beautiful, because you probably are.
Good luck with everything. My heart goes out to you, because I know how hard it is

the best way to get your body healthy again and working great and feeling good is what everyone says -- just eat healthily and in moderation, and get some moderate to vigorous exercise at least 4 times a week. careful with getting obsessed with the exercise especially though, i have had an ED on and off for a few years now so i know what it's like. but if you just give your body what it needs -- lean meats (or other vegetable sources of protein if you don't eat meat), plenty of vegetables and fruits, skim/low-fat dairy, whole-grain breads, and healthy fats and oils. of course the occasional candy or dessert is fine. get some good exercise (dont take it to the extreme, max. 1 hr.!) as well and drink lots of water, not a lot of soda or anything else sugary. you won't gain weight with this regime. your body will feel good and hopefully so will you!! :)

I would suggest seeking professional help. Professional help will get you to recover from what you have right now in away that it wont cause another eating disorder.
