What are some negative effects on the economy because of eating disorders?

People with eating disorders can tax the health care system. Also, people that suffer from sever eating disorders are often unproductive and don't help to generate money for the economy. Eating disorders are inherently bad for society and the economy.
There aren't any.
I think trying to attempt to establish any kind of relationship between eating disorders (which is an extremely broad term) and the economy (which is an extremely broad term) is fated to failure. If you looked at enough statistics I'm sure you could establish some sort of correlation, but I doubt any causation exists.
