Is there any relationship between speech disorders & eating banana in a 2 years old child? |
can eating one banana every day be related to slurred speech in 2 years old boy ok, yes...there may be some points you need to consider. firstly, the banana must be ripe. you will know it is ready to eat when brown spots appear on the skin. it is very important to avoid feeding children bananas where the skin is still showing green. that is because nature never intended us to eat unripe fruit sugars. the teeth are ripped apart as the body searches frantically for calcium to balance the effect. secondly, unlike most other fruit bananas have higher magnesium than calcium so you need to restore the balance at some time in the future. low levels of calcium produce low blood pressure, slurred speech, etc. in fact, you may just be giving the child too much...try giving him half. a whole banana may be only a snack for you, but it is too much for a two year old. thirdly, eating sweet food requires additional water to be consumed. that is because your blood needs water in order to transport calories through the body to your muscles for use or storage...and because your kidneys need water to dilute and safely excrete the by-products. as you know, dehydration causes the blood to thicken, slurred speech, etc. I hope that helps! no! banana doesn't have any bad effects in a child's speech...unless...the child speaks while eating the banana... No. There are many reasons for speech disorders. Eating specific food's not among them. No, cant be, the doc just advised me to start mashed banana for my 4 month old |
