Eating disorder- period?

I have Ednos , its an eating disorder. Well when you have ednos you are at a healthy weight and still get periods. But I started my period yesterday, i have had them for about two years then today there was nothing. Why did is stop , coud this be from the ednos?

Whenever you're in your teenage years, your hormones are still out of whack, so even if you are like clockwork with your period, it can change unexpectedly. Stress can also contribute to any irregularities with your menstrual cycle. But, with ED-NOS, you can still be classified as 'within normal ranges' for weight, but if your BMI (body mass index/ %age of weight that is fat) is too low, your menstrual cycle will stop. Just make sure that your mother and doctors know about this, and make sure you stay healthy.

Good luck.
what the heck are u talking about

if you have that problem then go see a doctor duhhhhhhh
i don't know if it could be from your eating disorder, but you need to tell your gynocologist. your period shouldn't have stopped so early.
I'm not sure to be honest - but do you have ednos with more anorexic tendencies, or more of the binging kind? Have you been restricting your food intake a lot lately? Are you on the pill? The best one to advise you if you are really concerned would be a doctor, but personally I wouldn't worry too much just from this, maybe see what the story is next month... strictly speaking I don't think your periods should stop if you are still a healthy weight, but I'm not really an expert on it. Periods can often be a bit irregular in both size and frequency in the first few years - I have found that in the past I've had some I've barely noticed as they've been incredibly light and for only 2 days, and my periods seem to often be lighter now I'm on the pill. Is there any possibility you've been pregnant? If you've had unprotected sex, or believe that pregnancy is a possibility, that may be something to look into, as you may experience very light amounts of bleeding when pregnant, as opposed to losing your period altogether - but honestly, at this stage I really wouldn't worry, DON'T panic - your body is a living thing and periods can vary due to a range of external factors, it's not some perfect clock. If you've lost a lot of weight in a short time, even if you're still a healthy weight, that can mess things up as well, and I think stress and jet-lag might do also - mine has been delayed like that a couple of times, so that I won't get my 2nd period until as much as 40 days after the previous one!
